MANILA, PHILIPPINES — The latest Dairy Queen (DQ) Blizzard of the Month offers options for matcha lovers. Indulge in seven different treats featuring the rich and complex flavors of ceremonial grade matcha powder from Uji, Kyoto Prefecture, available for a limited time only.
First up is the new Matcha Cheesecake Blizzard (starting at PHP 99), made with DQ’s signature soft serve mixed with matcha sauce and bite-sized pieces of cheesecake, and then topped with even more cheesecake pieces and a dash of Uji matcha powder.
Meanwhile, the new Matcha Almond Blizzard (starting at PHP 99) is made with DQ’s signature soft serve mixed with matcha sauce and crushed almonds then topped with Uji matcha powder and even more crushed almonds.
Rounding off the new Blizzard flavors is the Dirty Matcha Blizzard (starting at PHP 99), made with DQ’s signature soft serve mixed with matcha sauce and coffee concentrate, then topped with Uji matcha powder and chocolate chunks.
Aside from these, the new Matcha Brownie Parfait (priced at PHP 169) is made with layer upon layer of DQ’s soft serve with matcha sauce and chewy brownies in between, then topped with Uji matcha powder.
The new Matcha Classic Milkshake (starting at PHP 179) is also available, made with DQ’s signature soft serve, milk, and matcha sauce blended and then topped with Uji matcha powder to create the perfect thirst quencher
For those who want ice cream cake on the go, the new Matcha Mallows Tin Cake (priced at PHP 439) is the perfect fit. It is made with DQ’s signature soft serve mixed with chewy mini marshmallows and then topped with cake frosting and Uji matcha powder, all encased in a reusable tin can.
Finally, there’s the new Strawberry Matcha Blizzard Cake (starting at PHP 749), a 100% ice cream cake made with DQ’s signature soft serve, a cake crunch center, and luscious strawberry puree, finished with frosting and topped with matcha cream and strawberry cream pipings and Uji matcha powder.
DQ also offers the option to adjust the matcha ratio to enjoy the DQ dessert to one’s liking. For only PHP 19, one can add more matcha as they please.
The new offers are available for dine-in and take-out in all DQ stores nationwide. DQ also delivers straight to the doorstep through the 8911-1111 hotline, by logging on to the website, or via DQ’s official delivery partners GrabFood, foodpanda, and Pickaroo (prices may vary).
