With two days of talks, from November 19 to 20, delegates have enough time to sample some treats from the Special Events Committee.
While the transfer of venue meant the cancellation of some activities, nevertheless, “Leap of Faith: Lakas ng Katawan O Lakas ng Loob? Ano Sa Tingin Mo?”, promises to provide the thrills. Leap of Faith is available from November 20 to 21.
Should one opt not to take the leap, not necessarily due to lack of faith, not to worry. The AdCon Special Events has a menu of adventure tours. From November 18 to 21, special tours “Adventure O Attraction? Ano Sa Tingin Mo?” roll off to send delegates and guests on a mini-version of jungle survival and a day out at Ocean Adventure and Zoobic Safari, as well as a twilight cruise for the romantic and light-hearted ones.

LEAP OF FAITH
Lakas ng Katawan O Lakas ng Loob? Ano Sa Tingin Mo?

The AdCamp has five main activity areas:
1) The Rising Action – a wall climbing tower
2) Slide for Life – a Tyrolean zip line
3) The Down To Earth – a rappelling tower
4) Stage – for the MC, awarding, performers, etc.
5) Fun Zone – for the audience/cocktails/party area, and for sponsors’ booths
After registering and signing a waiver form, each participant shall be briefed and trained by a trainor. Only then can a participant join the games, which could be held from 4:30 to 5:30 PM on both days; other operating hours are for trainings and for the amusement of the guests.
There are 3 Adventure Stages:
Stage 1:
The Rising Action – 2 players will simultaneously race, climbing to the top of the wall, with the objective of being first to ring a bell placed at the top of the tower.
Stage 2:
Slide For Life – 2 players will simultaneously race, hanging via a sling on the Tyrolean zip line, and pull themselves via a rope, going from one tower to the other, with the objective of being the first to ring a bell placed at the end of the line, at Tower 2.
Stage 3:
The Down To Earth – 2 players will simultaneously rappel down the tower, with the objective of being the first to ring a bell placed on the ground.
This may also be run as a relay race where there will be 2 sets of 3 members, 1 person accomplishing a stage, and continued by the next after the bell has been rung.
