Initiative names Niranjan Singh as Head of Communications Design for APAC

SINGAPORE — Initiative, the culturally-driven media agency within IPG Mediabrands, has announced the appointment of Niranjan Singh to Head of Communications Design.

With more than 16 years of industry experience in Strategic Media Planning & Buying, Niranjan joins Initiative from his previous role at Mediacom Indonesia where he was the head of AOR leading the P&G business for the past three years. Prior to that, he spent six years at GroupM, working across leading brands such as Colgate Palmolive, GSK, and FrieslandCampina in India and Vietnam.

As Head of Communications Design Initiative APAC, Niranjan will champion the application of best-practice approaches, techniques, and solutions for modern experience design, and drive the connected communications design practice across key clients and sectors for Initiative APAC.

He will report to James Smyllie, President of Initiative APAC, and is currently based in Mumbai India prior to transitioning to the Initiative APAC regional headquarters in Singapore. His appointment is effective immediately.
