Jerry Hizon is Chief Creative Officer at Dentsu Jayme Syfu and Dentsu One Manila, alongside Managing Directors Elyse Bella and Edg Samson

MANILA, PHILIPPINES — Jerry Hizon will take on the role of Chief Creative Officer and helm both Dentsu Jayme Syfu and Dentsu One Manila. Prior to his role expansion, Jerry led the transformation of the Dentsu One Manila creative team as its CCO. During his term, the business won several creative and effectiveness awards for its Ginebra San Miguel “Frontliner Labels,” namely One Show, The Work, New York Festivals, Asia-Pacific Tambuli, Ad Stars, Boomerang, and Kidlat.

Jerry has also worked on Nissin Ramen, Dole Philippines, and Seaoil and went on to win various awards and citations for their brands. He was a multi-award winner from Cannes, Clio, Spikes, LIAA, New York Festivals, The Work, AWARD, Araw, and Kidlat.

Elyse Bella and Edg Samson have also been promoted to Managing Director for Dentsu Jayme Syfu and Dentsu One Manila, respectively.

Elyse Bella will oversee business transformation at dentsu. She has been a long-time dentsu account lead, directly overseeing its major Japanese accounts including Ajinomoto, Yamaha, and Glico. She was instrumental in leading the agency’s new business wins for Shell and Mang Inasal.

Edg Samsom will lead Dentsu One Manila as Managing Director. Since joining Dentsu in 2018, Edg has played a critical role in a number of Dentsu Philippines’ most notable business wins, including a part of the team that won the Coca-Cola account. He has overseen top accounts including Jollibee, Unilever, and Wyeth.
