MANILA – Independent agency, Keyframe, recently bagged the Silver Award for Financial Services and The Audience Honor Award for Financial Services for their XOOM LOL Social Media Campaign in the Shorty Awards held recently in New York City.
The Shorty Awards, also known as the “Shortys”, is a prestigious annual awards show, recognizing the people and organizations producing real-time short form content across Twitter, Facebook, Tumblr, YouTube, Instagram, and the rest of the social web.
The Shorty Awards has been in existence for 9 years and has awarded several social media campaigns around the world.
This is the first award won by Keyframe for a social media campaign that ran in the United States for expatriates who remit money to their loved ones here. This is also the first-ever Shorty Award given to a Filipino agency. The campaign featured Mikey Bustos doing a parody of OPM hits highlighting the need for a better way to send money home.
