SINGAPORE — Atome, Asia’s largest buy now, pay later brand, has selected BBDO Singapore to serve as its creative agency.
Since launch in late 2019, Atome now partners with over 10,000 major online and offline retailers across fashion and beauty, lifestyle, fitness, and homeware.
With headquarters in Singapore, the company provides services in 10 markets across Southeast Asia and wider Asia region. Atome is also part of Advance Intelligence Group, a series-D AI driven technology company, which was ranked No.1 on LinkedIn’s 2021 Top Startups List in Singapore.
After a competitive pitch wherein BBDO Singapore pitched its creative and strategic proposal for Atome against three other exclusively invited agencies, the agency won the pitch and was awarded the AOR as the selected regional creative agency for 2022.
BBDO’s strategic approach, and adaptable creative ideas won the work. As part of the contract, the agency is assigned two mega campaigns in 2022, as well as two sustenance campaigns.
“As a young, energetic and dynamic lifestyle brand, we have ambitious goals for 2022. We’ve always tried to do something edgy and different in our past brand work and this year, we’re going to take it up a notch. We look forward to this creative partnership with BBDO and build on our track record of memorable, creative campaigns across the region,” said Vangie Hu, Vice President of Regional Marketing, Atome.
“We couldn’t be more excited that Atome has chosen us to be their strategic and creative partner to bring their campaigns to life across the region. Atome is Asia’s leading BNPL brand, and we will work closely together to build a long-lasting brand that is loved by audiences in these key markets,” said Monica Hynds, Managing Director, BBDO Singapore.
