Raising the bar in creative excellence since Media
Magazine established it in 1986, Spikes has brought in the
brightest creative luminaries from across the world to form
the jury.
Creative heavyweight Jeff Goodby of Goodby Silverstein
& Partners, leads the pack in this most-awaited event. A
“spiked” ad man himself, Goodby has an impressive collection
of international metals from the most prestigious awardgiving
bodies.
To make up the dream jury are David Guerrero, chief
creative officer of BBDO Guerrero Ortega Philippines; Masako
Okamura, creative director at Dentsu, Japan; Jonathan
Harris, worldwide chief creative officer of Draftfcb USA;
Jonathan Kneebone, writer/director at The Glue Society,
Australia; Prasoon Joshi, executive chairman of McCann
Erickson India and regional creative director of South and
Southeast Asia, McCann Erickson India; Antonio Navas,
worldwide creative director of Ogilvy & Mather USA; Gary
Caulfield, executive creative advisor of Ogilvy & Mather
Advertising, Jakarta; Calvin Soh, vice-chairman and chief
creative officer-Asia of Publicis; Adrian Miller, executive
creative director of Saatchi & Saatchi, Malaysia; and Andy
Blood, group creative director of TBWAWhybin, New Zealand.
A three-day festival, Spikes 08 will showcase new award
categories with a separate group of jurors headed by Mainardo
de Nardis, global CEO of Aegis Media. Subsequently,
Mark Cridge, founder of Glue London, will head the digital
category jury for the second time.
