MANILA, PHILIPPINES — The Philippine Association of National Advertisers (PANA) and its Foundation have appointed a new set of officers, directors, and trustees poised to lead the organization in addressing the evolving landscape of the advertising industry.
The new board, inducted last January 25 at Ascott Hotel in Makati with Miguel Belmonte, President and CEO of PhilStar Media Group, as the inducting officer and keynote speaker, brings a wealth of experience to guide PANA through the contemporary challenges and opportunities within the advertising sector. With Miguel’s inspirational message highlighting his belief in staying true to the core values, the board looks forward to a strategic vision and objectives through exciting projects and industry collaborations. President Mick Atienza laid out three imperatives that will define PANA under his leadership: Collaboration, Adoption, and Responsiveness — values that shape a resilient and forward-thinking PANA.
On the other hand, the Foundation, through its Chairperson Blen Fernando, stressed the importance of honing students, future marketing practitioners, and educators with the right values necessary to make the industry prosper in the right direction. She referred to this as harnessing the heart, and this is built on four pillars, namely the enrichment of marketing learning, espousing responsible content creation, implementation & consumption, and taking a proactive stance in relevant social themes, especially those related to truth and values.
