NEW DELHI, INDIA — Systems and service provider REHAU India has partnered with media outlet ABP Live to seamlessly execute a Clean Up drive in five cities of India including Delhi, Pune, Vadodara, Mumbai, and Bangalore, for World Clean Up Day commemorated last September 17, 2022.
Through this partnership, REHAU, on the celebration of its 25 years of existence in India, wanted to accept responsibility, sustainably rethink procedures, and give something back to Mother Earth. The activity resulted in the collection of 7650 kgs of waste that was sent for recycling.
REHAU, a German-based brand that started in 1997 in India, is one of the leading global players in the furniture and building industry. The company is a solution provider for various business industries such as construction and automotive. They use advanced German technology to provide polymer-based solutions in the construction and automotive industries. Through this initiative, REHAU wanted to take all the required steps to leave behind a better world for the generations ahead. It believes in the power of three Rs – Reduce, Reuse and Recycle.
ABP Live has also always been environmentally conscious in its approach and, as a news media space, it has been one of the biggest proponents of incorporating sustainability in every sphere of life. With this initiative, ABP Live wants to reiterate its unwavering commitment to a cleaner and better world. As part of its relentless efforts, both REHAU and ABP Live undertook this activity of primarily gathering Plastic Waste from the five cities.
