Ayala Museum’s DesignTalks series continues with another engaging lecture on architecture, this time by British architect and urban designer Richard Coleman.
Coleman, a specialist in design assessment, heritage intervention, and townscape enhancement, spent his early career restoring and adapting both Windsor Castle and Hampton Court Palace. For 13 years he headed the UK’s Royal Commission on Design Review, and also spent 19 years leading Citydesigner – a consultancy of 12 architects, urban designers and historians, collaborating on challenging and innovative projects involving modern design in relation to heritage sites.
Richard is co-founder and chairman of worldarchitecturenews.com, chairman of the Architecture Club UK, and has lectured at Oxford University, the Royal Academy, Copenhagen University, Iloilo Heritage Society, among others.
For his DesignTalks this November 4, 2016 at the Ayala Museum, he will speak about his role in collaboration with Norman Foster’s team in designing the iconic Gherkin in London and other similar projects.
