MADRID, SPAIN — The Spanish production company be sweet has joined 1% For The Planet, a global network of companies, individuals and non-profit organizations that address the planet’s most pressing environmental issues. By joining this network, be sweet commits to donate the equivalent of 1% of its annual turnover in cash, in-kind or promotional support to environmental projects.
The founder of be sweet, Juan San Román, explains his adhesion to 1% For The Planet because “we are a socially and environmentally concerned company, and we believe that it is our duty to do what we can to leave a better world for future generations. That is why we see this commitment not as an expense, but as an investment.”
“We have chosen 1% For The Planet because of its vision, its track record and its credibility,” continues San Román. It has more than 5,800 partners in 91 countries and since its founding in 2002 has delivered more than $295 million to environmental projects. We are very excited to join the network and hope that our clients and friends will also empathize with it.
1% For The Planet was founded in 2002 by Yvon Chouinard, founder of Patagonia, and Craig Mathews, founder of Blue Ribbon Flies. The network has a certification system and its own seal to verify the commitment of participating organizations and avoid greenwashing.
be Sweet is defined by its permanent search for the best talent, creative production solutions and maximum optimization of resources for the production of spots, content and fiction. Among its most recent works are the campaigns for AG Aesthetics and the teaser for the launch of Leiva’s latest album, Cuando te muerdes el labio.
