Cake Boss Buddy Valastro, Fun Taiwan’s Janet Hsieh and Surfing The Menu: Next Generation’s Dan Churchill and Hayden Quinn to visit the festival’s global village
Philippines, 17 October 2016 – Discovery Networks Asia-Pacific (DNAP) today announces the return of the much-anticipated TLC Festival to the Philippines on Saturday, November 5 2016. With over 50,000 fans in attendance last year, the 2016 edition of TLC Festival boasts a Global Village comprising of worldly experiences including live entertainment, artisanal activities and gastronomic cuisines from around the world.
From 11am, loyal viewers of TLC will have the opportunity to globetrot across the world at Bonifacio High Street and experience the excitement of being part of Southeast Asia’s leading travel and lifestyle channel. TLC fans will also have the opportunity to rub shoulders with their favourite personalities – bubbly travel host Janet Hsieh from Fun Taiwan, the charming Dan Churchill and Hayden Quinn from Surfing The Menu: Next Generation, and America’s all-time favourite baker, Cake Boss Buddy Valastro.

Between meeting the TLC stars, TLC Festival Global Village guests can indulge in workshops and activities inspired by cultural icons from around the world: learn the basics of food-styling from our TLC chef together with co-presenter Del Monte Spaghetti Sauce, and have a drink with us and returning partner brand San Miguel Lifestyle Brews. Hosted by comedian Eri Neeman, festival goers can also look forward to the band Apartel of rock icon Ely Buendia, on the main stage, as well as cooking demos, talent appearances and stage games.
