BUSAN – AD STARS is now welcoming applications to the Young Stars AD Competition 2016. This is the first student advertising competition of its kind in the world, which gives people studying at college or university the chance to get ahead in the advertising industry by taking part in a unique mentoring program.
The Young Stars Competition takes place in Busan, South Korea, one of Asia’s fastest growing creative hubs.
“The goal of Young Stars is to identify and develop talent from all over the world, because it is today’s students who will determine the future of our industry,” says Euija Lee and Hwanjin Choi, Co-Chairpersons at AD STARS.
To take part in the Young Stars AD Competition, you must apply as part of a team of two or three people and submit a joint-application form before Friday, April 29, 2016.
Each team must explain why they would like to be part of the Young Stars AD competition 2016. They should also submit a small portfolio of work, which will be judged by experts in the advertising industry.
The top 40 teams from all over the globe will then be invited to fly to Haeundae beach in Busan, where they will learn from advertising professionals and be given a project to complete within 30 hours, giving them a taste of what it’s like to work in the fast-paced advertising industry.
The Young Stars AD Competition 2016 runs from August 24 to 27 at the BEXCO Convention Center.
