Spikes Asia reveals its Spikes Innovation 2025 shortlist

SINGAPORE – Spikes Asia, Asia Pacific’s most prestigious and sought-after award for creativity and marketing effectiveness, has announced its shortlist for the 2025 Innovation category.

Dentsu Inc., Tokyo‘s Phantom Snack and Visiongram were shortlisted for Early Stage Technology and Societal Innovation categories, respectively. Dentsu Creative Gurgaon was also shortlisted for their Motorola Deep Connect on both Product Innovation and Societal Innovation categories. Leo Burnett Mumbai‘s Lay’s Drops of Joy and Project Farm Equal were shortlisted on the Environmental and Societal Innovation categories.

The Spikes Innovation contest, known as the Innovation Spikes, is a prestigious category within the Spikes Asia Awards that celebrates groundbreaking innovation, technology, and problem-solving in the creative industry across the Asia-Pacific region. This category recognizes standalone technological solutions—including tools, products, models, platforms, and other forms of ad tech—as well as creative campaigns that utilize new technologies.

Spikes Asia is evolving from a single event in the year to a series of bespoke and accessible regional events designed to support the needs of the industry year-round. The new offering will support everyone in the business of creative marketing, from emerging talent to c-suite marketing leaders, to help the region tackle strategic challenges, consumer behaviors, cultural shifts, and creative thinking to propel the industry forward across APAC. Spikes Asia judging will be held in Vietnam in March 2025, culminating in the live Awards Ceremony in April, held in Singapore, to set the benchmark for creative excellence in APAC, while providing an opportunity for the industry to network and celebrate.
