Singapore Effies 2012 now open for entries

ASIA-PACIFIC – SINGAPORE, FEBRUARY 27, 2012: The Institute of Advertising Singapore’s 2012 Effie Awards is now open for entry submissions.
 
The Effies have been recognizing t=campaigns that have demonstrated insightful strategy, outstanding creative and deliver real results for the client. 
 
“The Singapore Effies are the only awards which celebrate the best work – work that not only looks great, but delivers hard-hitting results which build brands.  If it doesn’t get results, it doesn’t get an Effie," said Ben Lightfoot, chief executive officer of McCann Worldgroup Singapore and Effies 2012 chairman.
 
“Being a small island, there’s a perception that it’s easy to engage consumers in Singapore, but we’ve seen consumers begin to ‘switch off’ over the last year.  We’re excited to see the innovative campaigns that have truly connected with Singaporean shoppers.” Lightfoot continued.
