Digital Asia Festival 2012 adds digital experts to speaker lineup

ASIA-PACIFIC, OCTOBER 19, 2012 – November 7 marks beginning of the sixth Digital Asia Festival in Beijing, China that will address the topic of digital disruption. A fantastic line-up of seminars led by world-class speakers will discuss the future of digital marketing communications.
 
Additional speakers joining the lineup include:
Thomas Crampton, Social@Ogilvy Asia Pacific director, heads a team stretching across 23 cities in 15 Asian territories that helps companies conceive, develop and execute strategies in social media. Passionately involved in digital since 2004, he writes a widely read blog (thomascrampton.com) and is a frequent keynote speaker and moderator at high profile conferences around the world, from the World Economic Forum in Davos to Le Web in Paris and DLD in Munich.
 
Dirk Eschenbacher, Ogilvy & Mather Advertising regional creative director, is a designer, adman and digital marketing specialist with a strong passion for creative ideas that live on the intersection of advertising, branding and technology. In his role as Regional Creative Director with Ogilvy & Mather Asia Pacific, Dirk fuels the creative process with non-traditional and digital thinking across a variety of clients and markets. 
 
Sudhir Nair, Grey Digital India senior vice president & head of digital, has transformed the shop (formerly G2 Interactive) into one of the largest agencies in the region, developing capabilities ranging from digital consulting, social media, web development, campaign development, content development, data consulting, direct/interactive communications to CRM. During the Festival, Nair will talk about “The Driving Force of Digital” – a case study on Volkswwagen India – and talks about making headway into India’s multi-billion dollar auto market digitally.
 
Atifa Silk, Campaign Asia-Pacific editorial director, oversees content for all of Campaign’s print and digital products, as well as face-to-face events in the region. Silk will be moderating the Digital Asia Festival jury panel discussion, which features a client/agency panel discussion, where she quizzes the panel on what makes a successful digital marketing campaign.

Amy Chen, Coca Cola director of digital marketing, who is responsible for Coca-Cola China’s interactive/digital marketing strategy and execution.
 
Rudi Ramin, Kraft Foods Asia Pacific platform lead Asia Pacific, leads the Biskuat-Tiger Biscuits brand for the Asia Pacific region, based in Singapore. He is also the Asia Pacific Digital Marketing champion and is part of the Global Mondelez Digital Council which drives expertise in this area.  
 
Lee Smith, Omnicom Media Group APAC CEO platforms and president,  is responsible for digital and data marketing platforms for Omnicom Media Group and Annalect across the region. Lee has spent 20 years in the media industry with 15 years focused on emerging media and technology.  
 
Susana Tsui, OgilvyOne Worldwide Asia Pacific regional vice president for growth & strategic partnerships, spearheads the Growth Portfolio of OgilvyOne in Asia Pacific.  Her focus is mainly on Mergers & Acquisitions, Partnerships, new business models, Digital and Emerging Markets.
