PANA begins “Narito Ako Pilipino” campaign

PHILIPPINES, FEBRUARY 16, 2011 – PANA, the Philippine Association of National Advertisers, today launched the "Narito Ako Pilipino" (Here I Am Filipino) campaign with teasers in the Philippine Daily Inquirer, the Philippine Star and BusinessMirror. The ad asks the public to listen to the radio on February 25, the anniversary of the EDSA 1 People Power Revolution, at 8am or come to the People Power Monument along EDSA.

The teaser links to the microsite www.pana.com.ph/naritoakopilipino, which gives more information about campaign, part of PANA’s rebranding and relaunch this year. Additional details will be revealed on the microsite on the lead-up to the February 25 launch.

Central to the campaign is a song written by Seven A.D.’s Russel Molina, with music from noted composer Ogie Alcasid, which will play on all KBP member stations on the launch. The anthem is expected to ask citizens to take change to heart.

PANA believes that integrated marketing communications can unify the nation and drive citizens to take part in a movement for true change in Philippine society. There is no better time to ride the wave of optimism before it crashes under the weight of calamities and tragedies, and to instill heroism in everyone before it is too late.
