Sarah Maclean moves to BBDO Singapore as regional group account director role

ASIA-PACIFIC –  SINGAPORE, February 24 2012: Omnicom shop BBDO Singapore appointed Sarah Maclean to the role of regional group account director to manage the ExxonMobil business across the region.

Maclean moves from BBDO Beijing, where she managed the transition process for a number of recently acquired Mars brands, including Dove chocolate and their Pet Care accounts.  Additionally, she was responsible for Snickers and M&Ms, in a market where Mars leads the field.

“The opportunity to work with high profile, global brands, teamed with joining the talented team at BBDO, part of a network that has a proven track record at excelling in creativity and effectiveness – a mantle that is elusive to many – was just too appealing," commented Maclean.

“With her proven track record, we are extremely excited to have someone of Sarah’s calibre on board at BBDO Singapore," said Jean-Paul Burge, BBDO Southeast Asia president.

Before joining BBDO, Sarah worked for Ogilvy Singapore at their Centre of the Advertising Discipline, covering global and regional business, working across accounts such as Danone, Goodyear, Duracell and Coca Cola.   Prior to living in Singapore, Sarah worked with Saatchi & Saatchi New Zealand.  Throughout her career she has been integral to many highly integrated, creative accounts, which have been acknowledged at the Effie’s, Cannes, One Show and D&AD.
