MANILA, MARCH 13, 2013 – Film production studio Ten17P is on the lookout for talents for "Oscar", multi-award winning director Paul Soriano’s new biopic about a modern day hero. Shooting (tentatively) starts June, targeting a local and international premiere by December.
Soriano directed, co-produced and co-wrote the multi-awarded family-drama film "Thelma" (2011) starring Maja Salvador. The film raked in four awards at the 2012 Star Awards for Movies (Film of the Year, Best Director, Best Screenplay, Best Cinematographer) and the Bronze Palm Award at the 2012 Mexico International Film Festival, and has been screened at film festivals in Shanghai and Hawaii.
