Campaign Spotlight: JobStreet Indonesia and Pantarei transform ‘free time’ to learning opportunities

JAKARTA, INDONESIA — Indonesian young professionals are encouraged to always improve their professional skills. Unfortunately, the fierce competition is also preventing them from learning various skills and developing their abilities. In the midst of busy days, could Indonesian young professionals who are full of potential have time to improve their skills?

In fact, there is a lot of free time in a day that – unknowingly – can be leveraged to learn professional skills. So when JobStreet Indonesia appointed strategic communications firm Pantarei as their creative agency, Pantarei saw these “free times” as an opportunity to maximize ourselves, and translated this thinking through a campaign titled #MAXimalinDirimu.

Through the #MAXimalinDirimu campaign, JobStreet Indonesia, a leading employment platform by SEEK, introduces seekMAX, the largest curated learning platform in Indonesia that enables professional workers to improve their skills and advance their careers through short educational videos available for free. This new product is available to all Indonesians in Bahasa Indonesia through the JobStreet mobile application and will be available in other Southeast Asian regions this year.

“JobStreet understands the concerns of young Indonesian professionals in the midst of a fiercely competitive world of work. With creative support and cultural insight from Pantarei, we are launching seekMAX in a way that is relevant to the needs and lifestyles of Indonesian young professionals,” said Sawitri Hertoto, the country marketing manager of JobStreet Indonesia in explaining the vision of this campaign.

“Through the #MAXimalinDirimu campaign, seekMAX presents more than 1,500 videos that have been curated according to the needs of Indonesian young professionals. After creating an account, each user will get video recommendations according to their interests from various skill categories such as Self Development, Leadership & Management, Business & Finance, Technology & Design, to Sales & Marketing,” Sawitri added.

“This campaign elevates seekMAX as a solution that can turn non-productive times that we don’t pay attention to into opportunities to learn and maximize our potential; such as the time we spend waiting for public transportation, the time we spend in the middle of commuting trips, or the time we spend waiting for a reply to a message on our phones,” concluded Aidil Akbar Latief, the creative director of Pantarei.

This campaign marks the advancement of JobStreet Indonesia from a job search platform to a complete career partner, both for job seekers and companies looking for workers. With the #MAXimalinDirimu campaign, JobStreet Indonesia is expected to be a dependable partner for young professionals across Indonesia to achieve their aspirations, develop their professional skills, and help them find their dream job.
