MANILA – November 29, 2013 – The last time basketball brothers Jeron and Jeric Teng were the talk of the town was when Jeric’s crestfallen face went viral on social media after his team’s loss to his brother’s at the UAAP Men’s Basketball Championships.
But in a new video for McDonald’s by Leo Burnett, it’s as if the older Teng never lost the championship.
The video shows Jeron surprising his brother by inviting actress Jessy Mendiola–the brothers’ ideal girlfriend–to join Jeric for a meal at McDonald’s.
The video mirrors an earlier commercial for McDonald’s McSpicy and Shake Shake fries combo that shows the sultry Mendiola catching a guy off guard as she shares his table.
Directed by Carlo Ledesma and produced at Shoestring, the video was published on November 28, and has since earned over 120,000 views.
