Google and Intel join judging panel for the Media Accelerator Programme at The Festival of Media Global 2013

GLOBAL, MARCH 22, 2013 – C Squared, the organizer of The Festival of Media, is calling on emerging media and technology companies to compete for the title, "Hot Company of the Year" in the Media Accelerator Programme (MAP) at The Festival of Media Global 2013.  

The scheme, run in partnership with DMR Partners puts emerging media talent and cutting-edge businesses in front of high profile figures and senior level decision makers from across the worlds of advertising, media and marketing. The companies that enter MAP will be assessed by a leading panel of global VCs and marketers at The Festival of Media Global, the only global event dedicated to the $500bn media industry and one that attracts an audience made up of 76% CEO/Director level delegates.
 
The MAP entries will be assessed by a judging panel made up of leading entrepreneurs, investors, advisors and strategists, including:
·         Ben Barokas Meyers (general manager Marketplace Development, Google)
·         Johan Jervoe (VP sales and marketing director, partner marketing at Intel Corporation)
·         Russell Buckley (partner, Ballpark Ventures)
·         Tom Huseby (managing partner, SeaPoint Ventures)
·         Gayle Meyers (co-founder DMR Partners)
·         Anthony Risicato (general manager, Videohub Platform)
·         Chris Wade (director, Venture Capital Unit UK Trade & Investment)
·         Bernhard Glock (partner, MediaLink)
·         Yinglan Tan (venture partner, Sequoia Capital (India) Singapore)
 
All MAP entrants will be promoted across The Festival of Media Global web TV strand and across sister channels including M&M Global. In addition, entering companies will be given access to the breaking industry insights and unrivalled networking opportunities offered by the Festival itself, with complimentary tickets to the 3-day event.
 
In 2012, VideoHub was named MAP ‘Hot Company of the Year’. MAP is open to entering companies that are capitalised but at an early stage of development, offering products or services that are game-changing, breakthrough, innovative and unique.
The deadline for MAP entries is March 29. The five shortlisted entries, who will get to present their business on the main stage at The Festival of Media Global 2013 on April 30 in Montreux, Switzerland, will be announced on April 19.
