ASIA-PACIFIC – BANGKOK, THAILAND, MARCH 2, 2012: Representatives from Auckland, Bangkok, Beijing, Colombo, Dhaka, Ho Chi Minh, Hong Kong, Jakarta, Kathmandu, Karachi, Kuala Lumpur, Manila, Mumbai, Seoul, Singapore Taipei,and Tokyo will participate in the Young Lotus Workshop 2012 at Adfest 2012 on March 18. The workshop is hosted by JWT.
The Young Lotus Workshop is a two-and-a-half- day workshop, where participants will enjoy lectures and mentoring from JWT’s top executives, before being presented with a live brief and just 24-hours to make the deadline.

Manila’s representatives will be Campaigns & Grey Philippines’ copywriter Lovel Aniag and Leo Burnett Manila’s art director Carlo Cruz.
Aniag has been with Campaigns & Grey since July last year while Cruz is now on his sixth month with Leo Burnett. Prior to their present companies, they have worked together as partners at Euro RSCG Manila.
On their preparations for the workshop, Aniag says "We’ll be preparing separately since there’s no time because of our work." Cruz, on the other hand, believes that perseverance is key and their present work already serves as training.
The Young Lotus teams who create the best ideas or campaign will appear in front of a live audience at ADFEST on Sunday 18th March, 12pm in the session, ‘JWT Asia Pacific Presents Young Lotus 2012 Final Showdown’. Delegates will also vote for their favorite team to determine the winner of the Young Lotus Popular Vote. The winning teams will also be awarded at an Awards Ceremony that night.
