Y&R Moscow appoints Maxim Khabour as managing director

GLOBAL – RUSSIA, – JULY15, 2013 – Young & Rubicam has appointed Maxim Khabour as the new managing director of Y&R Moscow. In his new role, he will be responsible for developing new business and new services to our Clients (marketing consulting, shopper marketing, digital). 

The 38-year old executive has been working with Y&R since 1997 from being an account executive to account director in 2002. He was promoted as new business director in 2003 for his ability to actively pursue new business and handled the position for three years. 

In 2006, he decided to work on the client’s side as senior manager of TNK-BP marketing communications. Three years after, he served as managing director of Added Value Russia, under WPP Group which is Y&R’s umbrella company in the Russian marketplace.  Maxim and his colleagues implemented over 70 various marketing projects including all kinds of marketing research, brand & communication strategy, etc.

Y&R opened its office in Russia in 1989. Because of the agency’s growth and expansion, the management structure was changed.He will work in partnership with managing director Irina Volkhonskaya and will report to Yuri Pashin, President of Y&R Brands Russia and CIS.
