Ogilvy and Mather aims to increase awareness for Gandhi’s Mumbai home

MUMBAI – The Mani Bhavan Gandhi Museum Mumbai has recently launched a new print and poster campaign through Ogilvy and Mather Bangalore/Mumbai.

The Mani Bhavan was Gandhi’s Mumbai home from 1917-1933 and is one of the most important historic buildings in India. It is the very house where Gandhi lived and planned his campaigns of non-violent resistance that brought independence to India. The house is now preserved as a museum and memorial.

Despite its massive historic importance to the nation, awareness is low, especially among the younger generation. To raise awareness, the museum has released a campaign designed to attract more young visitors.

The print and poster executions were inspired by sketchbooks of millennials after they have visited the museum.

The campaign is currently running in India.
