Mio Chongson, one of the creative industry’s most prominent women leaders as president and Chief Operating Officer of Ace Saatchi & Saatchi, is a team player even among those she leads and mentors. At Ace Saatchi & Saatchi, she takes to heart the “one team, one dream” spirit. “I am most proud of my account management skills which have helped me hone my leadership skills. Having to take on all the challenges to keep earning revenues while trying to inspire the team—that’s an art and science that accounts people should be proud of,” she testifies. Even outside her office life, she takes pride in seeing eye to eye with those who look up to her. “When I’m not the President and COO, I am a barkada [friend] of my four children: their make-up ‘classmate,’ hiphop fan, executive assistant, etc.”
