Snoop, Schweppes, Tan Hong Ming win at AWARD

Snoop and Schweppes were the big winners of this year’s AWARD Awards Presentation Evening on Nov. 27 in Sydney, honoring outstanding creative work in the Asia Pacific.

A record number of 10 Golds were awarded, with 206 overall winners. Multiple Golds went to familiar spots: "Welcome Snoop" (Lowe and Rivet Sydney), "Tan Hong Ming" (Leo Burnett Advertising Sdn Bhd), and "Schweppes Burst" (Exit Films).  Also taking Golds for Asia were adidas Olympic (TBWA/ China) and Luxor Pop-out banner ads (Leo BurnettIndia).

AWARD Network of the Year went to BBDO, AWARD Agency of The Year went to Lowe and Rivet Sydney, and MTV Networks Australia was named AWARD Client of The Year.  The Encouragement Award, for those who have demonstrated an outstanding ability to answer briefs with a freshness of thought and creativity, went to Brett Colliver from DDB New Zealand.  Winner numbers went up by 19 for Australia, and down by 19 for New Zealand.  Asia went down by 13.
