Now on its 10th year, the Internet and Mobile Marketing Association of the Philippines’ (IMMAP) Boomerang Awards received its highest turnout yet at 263 submissions. Out of the field of 263, 90 entries have made it to the shortlists.
The jury led by Jos Ortega, Chairman & CEO, Havas Media Ortega, produced 22 shortlisted entries under the Campaign category, seven under Program/Service, 54 for Effectiveness, and seven for Digital Craft. From this pool of 90 entries, the jury will select the winners of Bronze, Silver, and Gold Boomerangs.
Under the Campaign category, Dentsu Jayme Syfu led the pack with four shortlisted entries followed by J. Walter Thompson Philippines, Leo Burnett Group Manila, and Publicis JimenezBasic with three entries each.
Mundomo.com Inc. had the most number of shortlisted entries under the Program/Service category with three, while TBWA\Digital Arts Network, MullenLowe, GMA Network Inc., and DDB Tribal Worldwide Philippines had one shortlist nod each.
Under Effectiveness, Leo Burnett Group Manila tallied nine shortlisted entries, followed by MullenLowe and Ogilvy & Mather with five each.
J. Walter Thompson garnered three shortlist spots under Digital Craft, followed by Publicis JimenezBasic at two entries.
