ASIA-PACIFIC – Pebble Goh is the latest creative to transfer within the BBDO agency network, moving from BBDO/Proximity Singapore to BBDO New York in August to move up as Senior Art Director for the P&G account.
BBDO/Proximity’s on-going strategy is to allow its people to move offices within its network to help them grow their talent, and at the same time advance their careers. Danny Searle, chief creative officer and chairman of BBDO/Proximity Singapore comments, “Through this system, we have managed to retain and develop many of our top people. Ronald Ng has gone from Malaysia to New York. Wai Foong Leong has gone from Singapore to Shanghai, Intan Mohknar moved from Malaysia to Singapore. In fact Jean-Paul Burge, Chris Thomas and I have all moved here from within the network."
Pebble attended Curtin University of Technology, taking up Graphic Design for her undergraduate degree. She started out with BBDO Malaysia as an art director in 2004 and moved to Singapore in 2008, working for slients such as Pepsi, Mini, KFC, Quaker, Gillette and Panasonic. She was part of the team that was responsible for the ACRES "Wedding Cake" anti-shark fishing campaign with ECD Jagdish Ramakrishnan. Pebble was given the Young Creative award at the Kancil Awards given out by 4As Malaysia in 2006.
