ASIA-PACIFIC – SINGAPORE, NOVEMBER 18, 2010 – The iconic hilltop destination The Jewel Box on Mount Faber, one of Singapore’s leading tourist attractions, has appointed AONIA to create a Christmas experience for its visitors.
In line with AONIA’s mission as ‘Architects of Experience’, a wintry fantasyland adorned with iridescent decorations and magical performances shall be created to evoke the spirit of the festive season, set against the beautiful view of Keppel Harbour and Sentosa Island.
There will be entertainment every Thursday to Sunday from December 1, 2010 to January 6, 2011. The trademark husky vocals of former Singapore Idol contestant Leandra Rasiah will captivate crowds as she serenades them with festive melodies for the first three weekends of the celebrations, in addition to other exciting performances including a repertoire of carols by in-house talents OMG! Finalists Singapore Char Siew Baos and 6Unsung, the Overall Champions for the National A Cappella Championships 2009.
Visitors can have their photographs taken with characters, as well as see thrilling fireworks on Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve.
Key highlights of The Jewel Box’s year-end celebration will be its annual tradition of a 15-minute Snow Show every hour, spectacular fireworks displays, and a captivating light-up of Singapore’s Tallest Christmas Tree.
