PHILIPPINES, NOVEMBER 24, 2010 – BBDO Guerrero/Proximity Philippines is searching for a CEO to replace Paul Roebuck, who is relocating to Singapore after six years with the agency. Under Roebuck’s leadership, the agency has consistently found success as the three-time winner of the country’s Agency of the Year award, the top-ranked Asian agency in The Work and the leading agency in the local industry’s creative rankings.

Chris Thomas, Chairman and CEO BBDO Asia Pacific, said: “Paul has been with us for six years. It is time for him to take on a new challenge and we respect that. He leaves a strong team and a great agency. We all wish him well in his new role.”

Meanwhile the transition process is already well underway, with the agency’s core management team, led by General Manager Francine Kahn Gonzales, running the agency during the transition period. The agency’s Chairman and Chief Creative Officer David Guerrero commented: "Paul will be a hard act to follow. But we’re lucky enough to have talked to some outstanding candidates in the past few weeks and are taking things further with a select few of them."

However the agency will not be rushing into a new hire. As Guerrero put it, “We feel it’s much more important to get the succession done right rather than quickly. Our ambition is to give our clients the best integrated campaigns in the market. And Paul’s successor will be expected to lead the way for the industry.”
