PHILIPPINES, OCTOBER 6, 2010 – Blackpencil, the second network agency of Leo Burnett Group in Manila, is ramping up its account management team, following the announced departure of Blackpencil General Manager Mila Marquez.

In a statement, Raymond Arrastia, group managing director of Leo Burnett Manila, said: “We appreciate Mila’s contributions to Blackpencil during her three-year stewardship of the agency, particularly in helping build sustainable growth for clients’ brands.”

In the meantime, Arrastia will assume management responsibilities for Blackpencil, which is expected to focus on business development while strengthening its creative reputation with its current roster of clients.

First to join Blackpencil is Golda Roldan of JWT Manila, who was client service director at the agency for four years.

“We thank Golda for her contributions to JWT and wish her all the best in her next adventure.” said JWT Manila CEO Jos Ortega.

Blackpencil will make additional announcements about its account management team in the next few months.
