IPG Mediabrands has announced Universal McCann (UM) Philippines’ appointment as media AOR for Coca-Cola Philippines after a review of media agencies last November-December 2017.
The official appointment was announced yesterday, January 9, 2017, by Coca-Cola Philippines to the the whole IPG Mediabrands team.
Coca-Cola Philippines in November conducted a Media Agency Review to evaluate leading media agencies’ abilities to provide integrated communication planning, media execution, and strategic analysis/media tracking capability for its entire portfolio of beverages.
“The evaluation of partners is a response to our need to continuously re-evaluate the fit between the business needs of the Company and competencies within the marketplace. We invited four agencies to participate in the evaluation process and the selection of the new partner agency was based on the internal Coca-Cola Global Media Agency process,” said Stephan Czypionka, VP for Marketing, Coca-Cola Philippines
UM Philippines competed against former agency-on-record Starcom Philippines, MediaCom Philippines, and Carat Philippines.
