The prestigious Cannes Lions is one of the most sought-after honors in the advertising industry and each year, more and more organizations submit their best work for a shot on the award. Today, June 15 2019, Cannes Lions Festival of Creativity has revealed the entries that have made the cut in the Communication: Outdoor Lions category, and 263 have been named as finalists.
Lola Mullenlowe Madrid tops the list with a total of 16 entries for one blockbuster brand: BURGER KING. Scoring multiple spots in the Retail sub-category, one of the biggest hits was the “Birthday” series campaign.
Close contender is NIKE Portland for its “Dream Crazy” campaign with 14 entries, TBWA\CHIAT\DAY New York with 11 spots, and ALMAPBBDO São Paulo with 8.
