THE PHILIPPINES, SEPTEMBER 2, 2011 –  A large wall display on the side of the HSBC Center in Bonifacio Global City is catching eyes day and night. “Let’s Watch Out for Each Other”, a project of the Bonifacio Art Foundation Inc. and HSBC, was designed by Robert Alejandro who is well known for his environmental graphic designs for public places. Both the Bonifacio Art Foundation Inc. and HSBC wanted something that would surely grab hold of people’s attention and at the same time to use a material that would be an excellent example of their commitment to conserving the environment.

Behind this masterpiece is a technology that is revolutionizing the way businesses market their message to target audiences: Electroluminescent Light (EL), which can be customized to illuminate any size, shape, color or animated sequence. At the same time it is environmentally friendly because it produces no glare, does not generate heat, consumes between 75-90% less electricity compared to any other light source, does not use any hazardous materials, and is also maintenance free.

HSBC’s wall mural display is 143 feet wide and 65 feet tall which is intended to be displayed for 2 straight years and is considered to be the biggest outdoor EL execution in the country.

The Electroluminescent Light panels were supplied by Clear Channels Inc., a company that aims to provide innovative marketing solutions here in the Philippines. Like Clear Channels on Facebook.com/clearchannels to receive updates.
