The Coca-Cola Company in the Philippines is currently having a review and evaluation of leading media agency companies’ abilities to provide integrated communication planning, media execution, and strategic analysis/media tracking capability for its entire portfolio of beverages.

However, Coca-Cola Philippines, in a statement, emphasized that the review does not respond “to a gap in the performance of our current partners, but to our need to continuously re-evaluate the fit between our needs and the marketplace capabilities given the rapid changes in both the consumer landscape and our business”.

Current media agency-on-record (AOR) Starcom Philippines will be up against MediaCom Philippines, Carat Philippines, and Universal McCann Philippines for the review. Starcom has been the beverage giant’s media AOR in the Philippines for more than a decade, starting in 2008.

The participating media agencies are expected to present their capabilities during the Media Agency Review meetings on the week of December 4, 2017 at The Coca-Cola Company office in Taguig City, Philippines.
