GLOBAL, DECEMBER 2010 – The two sets of specialist juries for the Music Videos and Film Advertising Crafts categories for the 2011 D&AD Awards have been announced. Barnaby Spurrier, partner at Tomboy Films UK is the Film Advertising Jury Foreman. Joining him are Gary Freedman, director, The Glue Society; Kevin Roddy, chief creative office, BBH New York; and Pete Raeburn, sound designer, Soundtree Music.
James Hackett, director of Music at EMI is Music Video Jury Foreman. With him are Svana Gisla, head of Music Video, Black Dog Films; Joceline Gabriel, freelance music video representative ; and Jules Dieng, head of Music Video, El Nino.
The judges will be looking for original, inspiring ideas that have been brilliantly executed and that are relevant, in the following categories:
Film Advertising, including web films, TV & cinema commercials and long form content: Animation, Cinematography, Direction, Editing for Film Advertising, Production Design, Sound Design, Special Effects, Use of Music.
Music Video: Animation, Cinematography, Editing, Special Effects.
