Design Center of the Philippines and partner organizations gear up for ASEAN Creative Cities Forum and Exhibition

Design Center of the Philippines Officer-in-Charge Rhea Matute, together with ASEAN 2017 Business and Investment Program Implementing Committee Program Director Celynne Layug, British Council Head of Arts and Creative Industries Malaya del Rosario, League of Cities of the Philippines (LCP) Program Officer for Advocacy, Marketing, and Networking Fidel Pamintuan, and LCP Technical Adviser for Special Projects and Programs Anna Abalahin, convened a multi-sectoral discussion with representatives from various government and private organizations to talk over preparations for the ASEAN Creative Cities Forum and Exhibition set to take place on 24-27 April 2017. The four-day thought leadership event will highlight the potential of creative industries in driving forward the country’s economy by generating growth, diversity, income, and employment through partnerships and collaboration among the ASEAN community. The event is part of the ASEAN 2017 Business and Investment Program (ABIP) that seeks to promote “inclusive, innovation-led growth, for shared prosperity in ASEAN.”
