MANILA, PHILIPPINES — WarnerMedia Entertainment Networks’s streaming service, HBO GO, launched in the Philippines back in December 2019, but thanks to the lockdown, it may be a good time to review what HBO shows could pique your interest.

1. Westworld.

With three seasons up, viewers can follow the dawn of artificial intelligence and the evolution of a dark odyssey in a world where artificial intelligence is the norm. Dolores and Caleb, along with the rest of the characters from the earlier seasons, continue their journey in a strange world.

2. His Dark Materials.

Based on the fantasy book series by author Philip Pullman, this fantasy drama series features a magical world with daemons, physical non-human manifestations of the soul.

3. Halfworlds.

Exclusively on HBO GO, this dark fantasy thriller series set in present-day Southeast Asia follows a society composed of creatures in Asian folklore will be a new favorite of mythology fans.

4. DC Comics’ Extended Universe.

Featuring the Justice League alongside heroes from Watchmen, Justice League VS The Fatal Five, The Dark Knight, and Aquaman. (Right in time for the release of Wonder Woman 84).

5. Mind-boggling films. HBO GO features an array of films like Us, Black Swan, War of the Worlds, Shutter Island, Hannibal.
