GLOBAL – NEW YORK, USA, SEPTEMBER 22, 2010 — Jim Heekin, Chairman and CEO of Grey Group, today announced that Josh Golden has joined Grey New York, the agency’s flagship office, as the company’s first EVP, Chief Digital Officer. This marks another key senior management appointment to enhance Grey New York after its recent high-profile wins of Red Lobster and DirecTV.
As the leader of Grey New York’s digital operations, Golden will oversee all digital communications and set and implement the agency’s digital vision, working closely with Jim Heekin and Tor Myhren, Grey New York’s Chief Creative Officer. Golden will also spearhead the recruitment of top talent and drive digital new business efforts.

Josh Golden possesses nearly two decades of award-winning integrated/digital experience in advertising, marketing, technology and production. He joins Grey from EuroRSCG New York, where he served as Managing Director, Digital since 2007. In that capacity, he was instrumental in growing the division to over 80 people, quadrupled revenue and oversaw the digital communications of such clients as Charles Schwab, ExxonMobil, Volvo, Jaguar, sanofi-aventis, GSK, Merck, Kraft Foods and Reckitt Benckiser.
Earlier, Golden spent two years at NBC Universal in New York as Group Director, Digital Marketing and five years at Young & Rubicam, New York, where he rose to the post of Integrated Account Director on AT&T, responsible for all integrated brand business.
He began his career in the film and television industry in Los Angeles directing and editing commercials and programs.
