Heinz explores the chilli side in TBWAVietnam spot

ASIA-PACIFIC, VIETNAM, JANUARY 2011 – TBWA\Vietnam has developed a new TVC for the first product formulated by Heinz for the Vietnamese palette, the New Heinz Chilli Sauce. The campaign launches this month countrywide throughout Vietnam. 
 
"Vietnamese people always prepare fresh food daily for all meals and generally save nothing for the next day. It’s part of our culture," said Dao Bich Diep, product manager for Heinz.
 
 

 
In the TVC, beautifully arranged Vietnamese meals are being drizzled, dipped and cooked with Heinz Chilli Sauce. As the V.O. announcer describes the delicious food, she can’t control her taste buds while delivering her lines and starts to salivate before the commercial ends. Off camera, a crew member extends a helping hand with a box of tissues that comes in just a nick to time for the announcer to catch herself.
 
"Heinz has a great product on their hands. Honestly, the hardest part about the shoot was keeping the talent from finishing off all the food. The new sauce is that good," said Patrick Tom, executive creative director at TBWA\Vietnam.
