PHILIPPINES, JANUARY 2011 – Ogilvy & Mather has announced the appointment of Jeremy Sy as its Group Planning Director.
Randy Aquino, Ogilvy & Mather Head of Country, said, “Jeremy, fresh from his stint with TBWA Melbourne, is a familiar face returning to the O&M Philippines Planning Group. He plays a crucial role in bringing to life our ‘Twin Peaks’ goal of developing work that is not just highly creative but also very effective.”
“We are continuously enhancing our ability to deliver strong ROIs (Return on Ideas) and building the commercial value of the brands we handle,” continues Aquino. “Aside from leading the Planning Group, Jeremy is tasked to effectively cascade and help us utilize our strategic tools and will be the chief strategist for our major brand initiatives and new business pitches.”
Jeremy is a seasoned planner, having worked for many years as the Head of Planning at TBWA Beijing; Associate Planning Director at JWT Shanghai; Strategic Planner at JWT Manila; and Planning Consultant for Henley Centre in London, Ogilvy & Mather Manila and TBWA Melbourne.
