ASIA-PACIFIC – SINGAPORE, OCTOBER 2011: BBDO/Proximity Singapore has appointed Kaye Sumanga to the role of Regional Account Director for Johnson & Johnson.
With over ten years agency experience under her belt, Sumanga will be responsible for servicing the Client across Asia Pacific, looking after Johnson & Johnson Baby, Stayfree and Nicorette.
The move enables Sumanga to build on an already well-established relationship with the brand, having previously worked with them for several years, first at McCann Erickson Singapore and then at BBDO, when they realigned to the creative agency in 2007.
Sumanga is excited to return, both to BBDO and the brand. “I’ve always had a big heart for Johnson & Johnson and I have come back with a clear mission – to push the boundaries and find new opportunities for the brand, meaningfully engage with the consumers beyond traditional forms of media and produce innovative, integrated campaigns.”
Sumanga left BBDO/Proximity Singapore in 2010 to work for MEC within their Branded Entertainment division, managing projects for Clients such as Coca Cola vitaminwater, Barclays and Sony Walkman. Before joining BBDO in 2007 Sumanga began her advertising career at Ace Saatchi & Saatchi in the Philippines before moving to Singapore to work with McCann Erickson in 2005.
