ASIA-PACIFIC – OCTOBER 1, 2010 – The Creative Rankings, an interactive and real time ranking for Asia’s creative community, debuted this week with the results from Spikes Asia 2010 included in the count. The tables, which include data from this year’s major international and regional award shows, revealed Leo Burnett Sydney’s Andy DiLallo as the top Executive Creative Director (ECD) across Asia Pacific.
A total of 14 out of the top 30 “Creatives” regionally are from Leo Burnett offices – with the top four spots held by Leo Burnett Sydney’s DiLallo in first, Jay Benjamin in second spot, and a joint number three for Michael Canning and Kieran Antill. Kieran Ots, also from the Sydney office, is in the eighth place. Other creatives in the Top 30 Creatives table include Leo Burnett Hong Kong’s Connie Lo (at 14), Cyrus Ho (at 15) and Eddie Booth (at 16). Joey Chung, Brian Ma, Kenny Ip, Leo Yeung, Alfred Wong and Wen Louie, also from Leo Burnett Hong Kong, are a tie at 18th spot.
Ogilvy and DDB are the networks with the most agencies in the Top 30 Agencies list, with four mentions each, followed by Leo Burnett with three offices in the list. Australia, Japan, India, New Zealand and Singapore are the top five countries in the rankings.
The Creative Rankings or Thecreativerankings.com is Haymarket Media’s real-time ranking and archive for Asia’s creative advertising community based on this year’s results from D&AD, Cannes Lions, One Show, Clios, Spikes Asia, Asian Marketing Effectiveness Festival and Adfest. Each creative is ranked according a weighting system that assigns a predetermined number of points to awards won at each individual award shows. The result is an interactive, real-time ranking of the top creatives in Asia based on more than 4,000 entries.
