The 15th Philippine Quill and 5th Student Quill Awards celebrated repeat wins for Meralco as Company of the Year, Stratworks as Agency of the Year, and the University of Santo. Tomas as School of the Year as these organizations earned the most number of excellence awards, which also saw record submissions from professional and student levels.

It was a three-peat for Stratworks, and an impressive four-peat for University of Santo. Tomas, which bagged the top prize for four out of the five years that the award has been given. Meralco has won the award three times since 2012.
In the Company of the Year category, ABS-CBN Corporation was honored as first runner-up, while Smart Communications placed second-runner-up. And in the Agency of the Year, Ogilvy and Mather was hailed as first runner-up and DDB Group Philippines finished as second runner-up.

Stratworks’ the “#ToughestJob2016” Facebook digital campaign empowered young voters as decision makers who have the power to choose the persons best-suited to fulfill the role of the country’s chief executive and vice president. The campaign garnered 4.9M impressions and reached a total of 2.6 million readers and close to one million video views by election day.
Shell Companies in the Philippines’ “Shell Sustains Involvement and Engagement through Elevated Communications” won the Top Award in Communication Research. The research focused on its multigenerational workforce, generating a 345% rise in engagement scores, which also listed Shell Philippines as one of the top performing communications site among 70 Shell business countries.

The Philippine Quill Awards and the Philippine Student Quill Awards were held separately at the Grand Ballroom of the Marriott Hotel at Newport City.
In the School of the Year race, De La Salle-College of St. Benilde placed first runner-up, while Angelicum College made it as second runner-up.
The Philippine Student Quill Top Award in Communication Management went to De La Salle-College of St. Benilde for “Komikwento”, while the Top Award in Communication Skills was conferred to Bataan Peninsula State University for “1588: The Guilds Literary Folio 2015-2016”.
