PHILIPPINES, DECEMBER 10, 2010 – NET25 emerged as the winningest TV station with 22 trophies at the Anak TV Seal awarding ceremonies attended by network executives and media personalities last December 8, 2010.
NET25 was followed by NBN with 17 awarded shows, TV5 with 14, Q11 with 13, GMA and ABS-CBN with 6 each and Studio 23 with one TV show. The award gives the shows the right to sport the Anak TV Seal during broadcast, the Anak TV Foundation’s mark for programs that are wholesome and child-sensitive.
In a letter by the Anak TV Foundation Inc. to Eagle Broadcasting Corporation President Edgardo Villanueva, the decision to award the NET 25 shows was “determined by 2,874 adult jurors from various sectors representing different geographic areas of the country during the 40 assessment screenings held from April to November 2010.”
The NET25 Anak TV Seal winners are Homepage, iBALITA, iNEWS, Landmarks, MOMents, On Set, The Red Carpet, Spoon, Tribe, Bundesliga, Discover Germany, Global 3000, In Focus, In Good Shape, Journal News, Tomorrow Today, Ang Iglesia ni Cristo, Ang Pagbubunyag, Chronicles, Ang Iglesia ni Cristo, and Pasugo.
