ASIA-PACIFIC, OCTOBER 22, 2010 – Grey Group Japan has been awarded the business of GameOn, a Tokyo-based provider of online game services, following a competitive five-way pitch. 
 

GameOn engages in the localization and domestic operation of overseas online games as a licensee. It is also involved in the provision of software licensing services to Internet cafes, merchandising rights business under authorised licenses, as well as operation of online game portals. 
 

The games which GameOn operates include Tenjouhi, Cronous, Mu, Red Stone, Silkroad Online, RF Online Z, Soul of the Ultimate Nation, EA Sports FIFA Online 2, Alliance of Valiant Arms, GUNZWEI and Prius Online.

Grey Group Japan’s mandate includes online and offline media strategy planning, website and content development (www.gameonlive.jp) as well as and event management. The agency will take on the task of organising an exclusive gaming event in Tokyo at the end of October as the first project for GameOn.
