Rexona puts confidence in Momentum Philippines

DECEMBER 10, 2010 – Momentum Philippines, the activation and experiential marketing discipline of McCann Worldgroup, has been awarded the Rexona Teens activation and digital brief, following a competitive pitch. Momentum’s winning concept will be implemented in campaigns across key Southeast Asian markets, and is set to launch by first quarter of 2011.

The new assignment is the agency’s third foray into a region-wide project for Rexona Teens. Past multi-market campaigns, including the “Kelly! Kelly!” activation and the “One Underarm Challenge” were also spearheaded by Momentum Philippines.

According to Majo Tomas, Head of Momentum, “Our in-depth understanding of the youth market and their take on intimate hygiene gave us the edge to win this assignment. We were also able to bring into play strong touch points resonating with teens across several nationalities. We are looking forward to another successful Momentum-Rexona collaboration with the new campaign.”
