SM for Every Woman celebrates diversity on Women’s Day with video starring Angeline Mead King and Joey Mead

The SM Store, reflecting its clothing line, accessories, and beauty products women that prominently include plus sizes, shades and hues for every skin tone, and designs for every body type, celebrated International Women’s Day 2017 with a video that starred husband and wife team of Angeline Mead King (formerly known as Ian King) and Joey Mead that highlighted the diversity of feminine beauty, from transgender, to statues and lithesome, from athletic to plus size, from fair to morena.

The video headlines SM’s celebration of Women’s Month that also includes Got to Wear shirts by SM that proclaim, “The Future is Female,” a promo that gives women 10 percent off on all regular-priced items every Wednesday of March, and a new spring-summer collection for every woman.

The video prominently features King’s drift racing skills as she purposely oversteers a Ford Mustang muscle car with Mead as passenger. It also highlights women of various body types, skin tone, and personalities getting together and celebrating the bonds of sisterhood for Women’s Month.

The video proclaims, “We’re kicking off Women’s Month by celebrating Every Woman. No stereotypes, only all types. Different women have their own styles and personalities. The SM Store is a safe, creative haven where they can find fashionable pieces that help them express who they are and what they are capable of. After all, the store believes that anyone can be who they want to be; the first step is to dress the part.”

The video features models Jessica Lily Mitchell, Sherlaine Yap, Teena Arches, as well as Joey Mead King and Angeline Mead King. It was directed by Carmen Del Prado, production by Jed Root Manila, with photography by Shaira Luna, makeup by Omar Ermita Xeng Zulueta, hair by Mark Familara Ethan David, styling by Andre Judd, Chang Charmaine, and Palermo John Rufo. The concept was in-house by The SM Store.
