MANILA, PHILIPPINES, AUGUST 24, 2010: The young and young at heart get first dibs on music as Symphonic Passion showcases a show that will definitely pique their musical interests. The show combines various musical genres such as contemporary classical music, modern rock, hip-hop, and rhythm
and blues — all of which will be accompanied and interpreted by a symphony orchestra.

Reginald Espiritu is conductor, music arranger and composer while special performances will be delivered by Quest, Julianne and Rivermaya. The celebrated Manila Symphony Orchestra, musicians from the Lasallian Youth Orchestra (LYO) and the CYO Unit 26 Chorale will perform in joint concert with the special performers under the direction of Espiritu. The concert will also feature select compositions by Paulina Siapuatco and CORPS Foundation of the Philippine National Police.

The proceeds of this special concert will be going to the One La Salle Scholarship Endowment Fund and RepubLIKHA, a non-profit organization that empowers children through education and music.

Ticket prices are at PhP 1000 for Gold, PhP 500 for silver, and PhP 300 for bronze seats (free-seating within the ticket categories). 50% discount is available for students as long as he/she will present a valid ID on the
day itself.
